The truth is,
loving a human being
is both painstaking
hard, and ridiculously
easy.
The truth is,
the line between
what is right
and what is
wrong, is both crystal
clear and completely
contextual.
The truth is,
my children’s health,
well-being and safety
are my parental responsibilities,
and largely outside
my control.
The truth is,
I am a living
organism who will
die sometime within the next
day to fifty years,
and there are
dirty dishes in the sink
that need to be
washed.
The truth is,
paradox and ambiguity
are the truth.
Welcome to life,
and living.
